Guinness World Record Attempt

Beat the Tide is a beach-run music event planned for Pendine Sands, combining live music, festival atmosphere, and a controlled attendance attempt that can be documented for a Guinness World Records application. 

We plan to create a safe, ticketed, well-marshalled event with clear entry controls, independent witness checking, & full photo/video evidence so Guinness can verify the attempt to have the highest ever ticketed event attendee numbers on Pendine Sands Beach. 

We are seeking approval/guidance from Guinness World Records so we can design the attempt around Guinness's official rules and evidence requirements.

Our goal will be to get 8000 people in attendance at our first event. This is far more attendees than ever before on Pendine Sands however there is no formal number to beat having spoken to the landowners and investigated thoroughly through all other channels. We plan to grow and beat the record year on year, with the upmost safety in mind as a priority, of course.
