Sponsors

We are looking to secure long term meaningful relationships with sponsors that can help us secure the early revenue we need to launch our first event(s) and make them highly safe yet incredible experiences, whilst  raising vital money and awareness for suicide prevention and post-suicide support charities. In return we give partners powerful brand visibility withing our values-led audience.

It needs to happen. The Sammy-SizedGap(.co.uk) post suicide support charity have supported 24 families following suicide in West Wales since their inception only a couple of years ago. Wales has the highest suicide rates in the country.

West Wales needs investment, opportunity and something truly meaningful and positive to not only seriously challenge the high suicide rates in Wales but also give people an annual event they can truly look forward to while making a real difference.

"Beat the Tide – Partnering with leading brands will help us to turn our Welsh beach music event idea into a movement that WILL make a real impact on suicide prevention and positive mental health." Steve Dickson, CEO.

Charity and impact section

Beat the Tide CIC commits a significant share of event profits to four suicide-prevention and post-suicide support charities featured on our charity page. Together with our sponsors, we will co-create campaigns and on-site messaging to normalise talking about mental health, signpost people to help, and honour those we have lost. Every ticket sold and every activation delivered contributes to that mission. Steve Dickson, CEO.

Why invest in Beat the Tide?

  • Distinctive live experience. Beat the Tide brings top world class DJs and thousands of music lovers together on a dramatic Welsh beach for a high-energy, full-day festival – a powerful platform for brands that want memorable, content-rich, real-world engagement rather than generic ad impressions.

  • Local roots, national relevance. The festival is rooted in West Wales but speaks to a UK-wide audience through its focus on mental health and suicide prevention, giving partners both authentic local connection and national storytelling potential.

  • Community-interest structure (CIC). As a CIC, Beat the Tide legally trades for community benefit rather than private shareholders, which strengthens ESG/CSR credentials for any sponsor wanting credible, impact‑first partnerships.

  • Four suicide and mental-health charities. With four partner charities highlighted on our charity page, sponsors can link their support directly to frontline services and support for people bereaved by suicide, turning festival activity into a clear, measurable impact narrative.

Broad call to action.

We are now inviting headline and major partners from sectors such as automotive, finance, tech, telecoms, lifestyle, consumer goods and hospitality to join us.
