Beat the Tide – Beach Festival and Community CIC in West Wales

Beat the Tide is a not‑for‑profit Community Interest Company based in West Wales. We run year‑round suicide‑prevention outreach and an annual music festival on Pendine Beach in Carmarthenshire to fund and amplify that work.

We are establishing a Community Interest Company dedicated to preventing suicide across West Wales and strengthening the communities most affected by mental health challenges.

Our mission

Our mission is rooted in proactive, year‑round community engagement. We will deliver regular outreach programs that focus on:

• Education about mental health and suicide prevention

• Building connection and peer support

• Signposting to appropriate services and help

This work is designed in partnership with local people and organisations so it is practical, accessible and relevant to life in West Wales.
